A significant amount of honey on stores shelves today is a blend from multiple provinces and is produced by large packers. To be as local as possible, Alderwood Farms partners directly with Ontario Beekeepers to bring pure, single-apiary Ontario honey to you.
Every type of honey in our lineup is prepared by a different beekeeper, and every jar is transparently traceable back to the apiary and harvest.
Our beekeepers carefully craft our non-pasteurized honey in small batches to preserve the pollen content, floral character, and natural enzymes. You will immediately taste how delicious truly local honey is. Enjoy by the spoon, drizzled on toast, in tea, or to naturally sweeten your favourite recipes.
