Description
Derived from the spice turmeric, Curcumin is a phytochemical that has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine to alleviate joint-related inflammation. Its bright yellow color comes from the curcuminoids that inhibit inflammation-causing enzymes in turmeric.
Curcuminoids in turmeric have potent antioxidant properties, which help to counteract harmful free radicals that contribute to aging and disease in the body.
Scientific studies have proven the low oral absorption rate of curcumin in the body. To improve this, the formula includes naturally-derived phosphatidylcholine and bromelain to increase absorption and enhance the anti-inflammatory effects of curcumin.
