Description
Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a component of the endocannabinoid fatty acid amides and displays significant anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. It functions by targeting the endocannabinoid system, providing relief from discomfort.
PEA's poor water solubility negatively impacts its oral absorption and bioavailability. However, micronization can solve this issue by reducing large particles to the micron range (<10 μm), increasing the total surface area and promoting rapid dissolution.
