Maplelife's Digestive Enzymes help with adjusting the correct level of digestive enzymes needed for the body. It is a blend of enzymes normally present in the stomach and small intestine facilitating digestion of various macronutrients. It also provides an adequate amount of pancreatic enzymes that aim at hydrolysis of proteins (protease), degradation of starches (amylase), and digestion of fat (lipase). Cellulase that cannot be synthesized by the human body is added into the formula to support the breakdown of plant fibres.
